Davio’s opens.

Originally located in Brookline and then Cambridge, it opens a third restaurant at 269 Newbury Street. Purchased by Steve DeFillipo, the Boston restaurant moves to Park Square in 2002 and to the South Boston Seaport in 2019. Other Davio’s restaurants are subsequently opened in Foxborough, Philadelphia and Atlanta.
